This is my very first tattoo, obviously showing nine of the planets of our solar system. First of all, I will clear the fact that I added Pluto because despite its classification as a dwarf planet, it is still indeed, a planet. It took two sessions to finish. The first one took over 2 hours and my skin became too sensitive to absorb any more ink. Two weeks later I came back and got the finishing touches.
I seriously love my art, and I’m happy it has a lot of meaning for me, me being an astronomy freak and loving space and NASA stuff :) The elaboration is not completely realistic; that’s what I wanted. So, if it looks a little cartoonish to you, that’s why. I should also clear that in this picture my back is slightly bend forward, and I’m really skinny, so my vertebrae pops up very easily and that tends to cause distortion on the circles. They’re not poorly drawn circles, they’re circles on an irregular surface xD
